Integrating the Shelly Plus Wall Dimmer with SmartThings

What You’ll Need

• Shelly Plus Wall Dimmer installed and powered

• SmartThings Hub (V2, V3, or Aeotec Hub)

• Active WiFi network

• SmartThings app installed

  
  

Step 1: Connect the Shelly Dimmer to Your Network (Access Point Mode)

When powered on for the first time, the Shelly Plus Wall Dimmer will enter Access Point Mode. Follow these steps to connect it to your network:

1. Open your phone’s WiFi settings.

2. Connect to the network named “ShellyPlusWD.”

3. Open a web browser and go to: `192.168.33.1`.

4. Access the Shelly device interface.

5. Navigate to Settings → WiFi.

6. Enter your home WiFi SSID and password.

7. Tap Save.
